Apple Festival 2013

Community Baptist Church
What a success!! Thank you to all who came by and joined us at the Brushy Mountain Apple Festival for free face painting, balloons & coloring, giveaways and more! A sincere thank you to our church family who made the What is Truth Project possible to spread the hope and love of our Creator and Savior Jesus Christ to others in our community.

Here are just a few samples of faces and activities throughout the day...

"For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible...
all things were created by Him, and for Him:
And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist."
Colossians 1:16-17

"I was so impressed yesterday at the Brushy Mountain Apple Festival where on 9th street Community for Truth offered free bottled water, clean bathrooms, free elaborate face painting for children and adults and a free DVD called Evolution vs God. The facility gave many tired Apple Festival attendees a opportunity to come in the building and rest. Thank you for putting God first and God bless all that put this together. Will most definitely be looking for your group next year."

"I am from Tidewater Virginia. I attended the Apple Festival with my family today. Your clown led me to your ministry area. I want to thank your volunteers for all the time and effort spent in showing the love of Christ to the community and by presenting information to the community. It is nice to see a church reach out beyond the walls to get involved in the community...so refreshing. May God bless you as you serve others."                            Blessings,
